I love this salon so much! Gia, the owner is an amazingly talented and educated stylist and a wonderful friend. I never worry about my hair and completely place my hair and spa needs in the friendly staff's hands as often as possible. I come here to get away and relax as much as to take care of my personal image. I recommend this modern salon to everyone in Durham!
I went to Aura and had my hair cut. This was a completely different style from what I had. I was very nervous because I took a lot of hair off. While I was there the staff was very nice. They made me feel very comfortable. The owner even came over to check on me to make sure that I was happy. I can say that this will be my new salon for life, and anyone out there that is looking for a new stylist or day spa this is the place to go. Decoration is beautiful. A big phrase painted on a back wall, the green cloud mural they have at the reception is astonishing; you need to see it for yourself. Overall, I had a great experience!!!!

First, the salon itself is wonderfully decorated in soothing shades of teal green. It is elegant spacious and relaxing with plenty of places to sit. As you walk into the salon, the receptionist greets you with a smile. there is refreshing cucumber and lemon water to drink. It's a wonderful place to get away and relax. It is a spa that offers full-service. A Salon that offers everything from massages to mani/pedi service, there's even a barber shop in there. Gia the owner is amazing I have been her client for 2 years now and she treats me as if I am her only client even though she is a very busy stylist. She knows me very well and when I sit in her chair, I know that I am well taken care of, not just my hair but she is interested in me as a person and how I am doing. I highly recommend going to this Boutique and treating yourself. You deserve it and it is for everyone! All races are welcome!
